Operating Room Renovations
This project involved the construction of a new operating room within the existing operating suite of the hospital. Our team coordinated all aspects of this project: demolition; dust, debris & noise control; structural steel reinforcement; installation of medical gases, HVAC ducts, sprinkler; plumbing; electrical, and all interior finishes.
We were successful in completing this project while allowing the existing operating rooms to remain in service throughout the duration of the project. During construction we maintained a negative air seal around the work area, which prevented contaminants from migrating into the sterile areas of the operating suite. This project required intense supervision in order to maintain a high level of quality control.
